Patient safety is free from incidents that occurred by mistake, or could have been prevented as a result of medical care. The attitude of nurses to report patient safety incidents including near miss is needed to support patient safety program. Attitudes may arise from the knowledge of patient safety. This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge of nurses about near miss with the attitude report near miss. This research is a descriptive cross sectional correlative. The samples were nurses in the inpatient unit as much as 89 respondents using accidental sampling. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of two (2) questionnaire to assess knowledge about near miss and attitude of nurses reported near miss. The analysis used were univariate and bivariate using Chi-Square. The results showed that the p value  1,000 (p value > 0.05) so it was concluded that there was no correlation between the knowledge of nurses about near miss with the attitudes reported near miss. Based on the results of the study are expected for the nurse to increase the knowledge of near miss as well as providing a positive attitude to report near miss.
