KOMPARASI EFEKTIVITAS KAMPANYE GERAKAN BYE-BYE PLASTIC BAGS DI INDONESIA DAN SINGAPURA

Abstract


This research compares the effectiveness of the work of the Bye Bye Plastic Bags (BBPB) in Indonesia and Singapore. This study also looks at the influence on public view and understanding of plastic waste from an environmental movement formed by young people.

            This research is a qualitative research that aims to explain the effectiveness of the BBPB movement's campaign in Indonesia and Singapore compares using the theory of civil society organizations (CSO) and the measurement indicators are increased awareness, increased interest, desires that are processed into movement development, and real action. Data collection techniques in this study used document analysis and interviews with three sources.

            This study shows that the impact of BBPB campaign varied of each country In Indonesia the level of effectiveness can be seen from the process of reducing and even issuing policies, while in Singapore the effectiveness is seen from the number of distributions and the number of people who participate. in BBPB activities.
