EFEKTIVITAS IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KELUARGA HARAPAN (PKH) DI KAMPUNG TELUK MERBAU KECAMATAN DAYUN KABUPATEN SIAK

Abstract


The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a social protection program in Indonesia in the form of Social Assistance. This assistance is given to poor and vulnerable families with certain requirements that have been registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The goals of PKH are expected to be able to improve the living standards of Beneficiary Families (KPM), reduce the burden of spending and increase family income, change the behavior and independence of KPM, reduce poverty and inequality, and introduce the benefits of formal financial products and services to KPM. The focus of this study is to analyze how the effectiveness of the implementation of PKH in Teluk Merbau Village, Dayun District, Siak Regency, which is analyzed using four effectiveness variables, namely targeting accuracy, program socialization, program objectives, and program monitoring. With a qualitative approach, the selection of informants using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are used in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the PKH program in Teluk Merbau Village, Dayun District, Siak Regency had not been effective, this was due to invalid data, there were main obstacles for KPM PCH with Elderly criteria, and lack of coordination between PKH facilitators and the Village Government of Teluk Merbau.
