Abstract


The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the response of coconut farmers to village-owned enterprises and provide an overview of the factors that influence the response of coconut farmers to these village-owned enterprises. The basis of this study was to use a field survey in the river fig village. Type of writing using descriptive quantitative research that is working with numbers that are analyzed using data processing spss data obtained from questionnaires that have been distributed. Data collection through observation with interviews directly to respondents. The technique in this study uses a simple random sampling method. Sampling was 80 respondents with a margin of error (10%) from 400 coconut farmers. Data collected from research results are processed using frequency tables with percentages. In collecting data researchers used observation techniques, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that coconut farmers' responses which include, attitudes, actions, and participation have revealed positive responses. This is because even though the condition of village-owned enterprises still needs improvement, the support flowing from the community believes that the objectives and results that will be obtained from a long process will improve the economy of the river fig village so that positive support for village-owned enterprises flows.
