DAMPAK INDUSTRI PARIWISATA LAGOI BERTARAF INTERNSIONAL YANG DIKELOLA OLEH PT. BRC TERHADAP PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH KABUPATEN BINTAN PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU

Abstract

This research is aimed to explain the impact of International Standart Lagoi Industry Managed By PT. BRC On The Domestic Revenue (PAD) of Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. Tourism is a type of industry that can increase economic growth and play an important role in economic development of a region. Lagoi is an international tourism industry that has become an economic foundation and contributed to the domestic revenue of Bintan Regency for every year. Lagoi tourism area is the result of cooperation between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of Singapore is purely managed by PT. BRC (Bintan Resort Cakrawala) as a tourist area that became the center of economy, trade center and as a center of service activities in Riau Islands and become one of the main tourist destinations for tourists. The developing Lagoi area has made development planning to have a positive economic, social and political impact that will also affect the economy, especially in increasing the domestic revenue of the Bintan Regency.
The study was prepared using the perspective of Liberalism and International Cooperation theory by K.J Holsti. This research also uses descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection used were interviews (structured and unstructured) and literature studies.
Based on the results of this research, it can be said that the Lagoi tourism industry has a positive impact. This can be seen from the region of Lagoi who managed to contribute to the domestic revenue of Bintan regency of 70% sourced from taxes and user charges and also through international events held by PT. BRC for every year. As the result, it will have an impact for the community both in terms of economic, social and political. Keywords: Tourism, Domestic Revenue, Impact
