Abstract


Abstract: Based on the observations that researchers made on the Garuda Muda Gunung Sahilan men's volleyball team when players played volleyball, there were several symptoms that indicated that the student's volleyball game was still not good. This can be seen when some students pass volleyball balls that cannot be accepted by their friends, many of them deviate from what is intended. The purpose of this study was to determine how big the contribution of eye-hand coordination to the bottom passing ability of the Garuda Muda Gunung Sahilan men's volleyball team. The population in this study was the entire Garuda Muda Gunung Sahilan men's volleyball team, totaling 13 people. Based on the population is not so large and within the limits of ability, the researchers set a number of populations as samples (total sampling). Thus, the research sample for the entire Garuda Muda Gunung Sahilan men's volleyball team was 13 people. The research instrument used was the eye-hand coordination test by throwing and catching the ball against the wall and the volleyball bottom passing ability test. The correlation analysis technique used is Product moment Correlation. Based on the results of research and data processing using research statistical procedures, it is concluded that there is a relationship between eye-hand coordination and the ability of passing down the men's volleyball team of Garuda Muda Gunung Sahilan, this can be seen from the influence given, which is 86.67%.
