PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 1 BAGAN SINEMBAH
Abstract
Abstract: This study is an experimental study using the learning model Snowball
Throwing. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah with 2
classes, XI IPS 1 as an experimental class and XI IPS 2 as the control class. From the
two experimental actions of applying the snowball throwing model in two classes,
pretest and posttest data were generated . The data analysis technique of this research
is the homogeneity test, normality test and difference power test (t-test). The results of
the study showed that pretest the control classwas 55.31 and the experimental class was
60.62. Teacher activity in this model is in the perfect category. Student activity has a
good average. The results of the posttest students'experienced a significant difference
where the experimental class was 78.75 while the control class was 62.18. The results
of the t-test obtained 2-tailed Sig of 0.004 <0.05, which means that they have
differences in learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that thelearning model is
snowball throwing able to improve student learning outcomes and activities.
