PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE COURSE REVIEW HORAY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 67 PEKANBARU

Abstract


Abstract: The low mathematic study result with an average score per class 61,14 were the main cause of the research. It is that concluded by the daily examination score which reach below 75 as the Minimum Passing Criteria (KKM) of Government Public Elementary School of 67 Pekanbaru. Only 8 among 21 students of 3rd grader of Government Public School of 67 Pekanbaru passed the KKM (38,1 %). That left the rest 13 (61,9 %) being the opposite. It is proved that student’s mathematic study result from 3rd grader of Government Public Elementary School of 67 Pekanbaru is considered low. The thing happened for many reasons such; 1. The teacher tent to do lecturing method that left the students focus only to one direction without any active participation (passive); 2. Students do their task mostly rely on his/herself and rarely work in a group study. Base on that, the researcher has made an essay entitled “An Implementation of Course Review Horay Type Cooperative Learning Method, In Enhancing Student’s Mathematic Study Result For 3rd Grader of”. This essay is a Class Measures Research (PTK) with 21 students from 3rd grade of Government Public Elementary School of 67 Pekanbaru as the participants. Syllabus, RPP, LKS, teacher and student activity observation sheet together with daily examinations are among the instruments used to complete the research. The research showed that the average student’s study results improved from basic 47,67 in cycle I at 66,6 with percentage of 12.85 % followed the basic 47,67 in cycle II at 80,9, increasing percentage of 18,06 %. Meantime, the average teacher activity in cycle I is 54,2 (middle) and increased 37,5 point to 91,7 (very good) in cycle II. The average student activity in cycle I is 54,7 (middle), increased 35,42 point to 89,5 (very good) in cycle II. It is clear that the learning mathematic result was increased. Teacher and student activity were also increased in each meeting. These is a proven fact that the implementation of course review horay type cooperative learning method is indeed enhancing Student’s Mathematic Study Result For 3rd Grader of Government Public Elementary School of 67 Pekanbaru.
