PENGARUH MINAT BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI SISWA KELAS XI IPS MAN 1 PEKANBARU

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of interest in learning on the achievement of learning on the subjects of Economics students class XI IPS MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The number of samples in this study were 57 people from 129 population, sampling technique using simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques used in this study is the method of questionnaires and methods of documentation. The method used in this research is Simple Linear Regression Method. The results of measurement for student interest in learning included in the high category of 49.12% with an average of 43.42. Respondents mostly answered statements with frequent choices. The level of learning achievement on the subjects of Economics received a value that is included in the category good enough that as many as 17 people or 29.82%. In addition, as many as 1 student or with a percentage of 1.75% get very good value. Result of simple linear regression equation Y = 53,085 + 0,568X. The learning achievement of Economics subjects increases with the increasing interest in learning. Interest in learning on the achievement of learning on the subjects of Economics class XI IPS MAN 1 Pekanbaru is known from F arithmetic 16.716 larger than F table 4.016 so that the interest of learning has a significant influence on the preservation of learning on the subjects of Economics students class XI IPS MAN 1 Pekanbaru . Judging from the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.233. This means that 23.3% variation in learning achievement changes that occur can be explained by the variation in changes in interest in learning. While the remaining 76.7% is explained by other factors not included in this study.
