HUBUNGAN KELEKATAN DENGAN ORANG TUA DENGAN KEMANDIRIAN ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK PEMBINA 2 KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstract

Abstrack: The aim of this research is to know whether there is any correlation between students’ attachment and independence of children in early childhood education pembina 2 pekanbaru city. The population of this research is the students of early childhood education Pembina 2 pekanbaru city. that consists of 88 students, the samples of this research are 88 students. Method of this research is quantitative correlation to know the correation between independent variable and dependent variable. The technique of collecting data used observation sheet in Likert scale form. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analitical by using IBM SPSS program for Windows Ver.22. Based on the hypothesis there is any significant positive correlation between attachment and independence of children in early childhood education pembina 2 pekanbaru city.. It could be seen from the result of correlation cooficient that rxy = 0,116 and significant level is 0,006 < 0,05. The correlation between students’ attachment and independence of children in early childhood education pembina 2 pekanbaru city is in the low level which is the KP = r² x 100% = 1,35%, it means that attachment affect the independence of children as much as 1,35%.
