PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT SUKU AKIT TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN

Abstract


Abstract: This research is aimed to know how Akit society perception toward education and how society education Akit. The population of this research is 133 Head of Family (KK) of tribe community in Jangkang Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The sample of this research consisted of 30 Head of Family (KK) to see perception through questionnaire and 10 people to see education through interview. The method used in this research is quantitative and qualitative descriptive method with questionnaire and interview technique. The results of this study indicate that the level of perception of the Akit Tribe community in Jangkang Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency towards good education, the main factor that hampers some tribes society is not education is economy and the second is in terms of confidence this can be judging by the number of Akit mothers who graduated from elementary school, many broke down in the middle of the road and did not continue to the higher level.
