PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATAKN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IVB SD NEGERI 58 PEKANBARU
Abstract
Abstrak: The purpose of this study is to determine whether the application of mind mapping learning method can improve student learning outcomes of grade IVB SD Negeri 58 Pekanbaru. This type of research Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the subject of research is a student grade IVB which amounted to 24 students. Data collection techniques used are observation and test. The result of this research concludes that IPS learning using mind mapping method can increase teacher activity, student activity and IPS learning result. In the first cycle of the first meeting of the teacher activity obtained a percentage of 63.89% with good category, the second meeting increased to 75% with good category While for cycle II in the meeting get increased percentage of 91.67% with very good category as well as in the second meeting experienced an increase with a 97.23% percentage with very good category. When viewed from the students' civility in the first cycle of the first meeting get a percentage of 58.3% with enough category as well as the second encountered student activity get a percentage of 69.4% with good category. In the second cycle in the first meeting of the student activity get an increase of 83.3% percentage with very good category, in the second meeting of the students activities get 97.23% percentage with very good category.If seen from the completeness Classical before applied method of learning Mind Mapping of 41, 67% then after Mind Mapping learning method adopted an increase each cycle that is in daily repeat cycle I get percentage equal to 66,67% with category not complete while in daily test cycle II get percentage 87,5% with complete category
