PELAKSANAAN PEMBINAAN ANAK BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 12 TAHUN 1995 (STUDI KASUS DI LEMBAGA PEMBINAAN KHUSUS ANAK KELAS II PEKANBARU)

Abstract


Children are both a command and a gift from God Almighty, endowed with intrinsic
dignity and worth as full human beings. Children who commit crimes must be placed in
the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) where they will be counseled.
Coaching is the primary activity used to increase the quality of children's piety to God
Almighty, as well as their academic abilities, skills, attitudes, and behavior, as well as
their health. The Child Special Counseling Institute (LPKA) is a place where children who
have run afoul of the law can get guidance and instruction. First, the Implementation of
Child Guidance Based on Law Number 11 of 2012 at the Pekanbaru Class II Special Child
Development Institute, was the motivation for producing this thesis. Second, challenges
encountered in implementing child development at the Pekanbaru Class II Child
Development Institute, and third, efforts undertaken at the Pekanbaru Child Development
Institute to improve child development. Class II Pekanbaru Children's Special Guidance.
Because the author directly conducts research on the location or place under
investigation in order to present a thorough and clear image of the subject being
investigated, this form of research can be characterized as sociological juridical research.
The population and sample in this study include all parties relevant to the problems
researched in this study, the data sources used are primary data, secondary data, and
tertiary data, and the data collection procedures in this study are observation, interviews,
and documentation.
The Implementation of Child Development Based on Law Number 11 of 2012
Concerning the Child Criminal Justice System (Case Study at the Pekanbaru Class II
Special Child Development Institute) has not been implemented optimally, according to
the findings of research conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation.
Limited Human Resources, Inadequate Facilities and Infrastructure, and a lack of
coordination with associated organizations are still obstacles in Child Development at the
Pekanbaru Class II Special Child Development Institute.
