PENUNDAAN PEMBAYARAN KREDIT BNI GRIYA DI PT. BANK NEGARA INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK CABANG PEKANBARU DENGAN ALASAN FORCE MAJEURE AKIBAT PANDEMI COVID-19
Abstract
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has issued a credit
restructuring policy. A restructuring of credit is a financial term that is widely
used in banking and refers to improving credit activities for debtors who are
having difficulty fulfilling their obligations. In this regard, the Financial Services
Authority (OJK) issued Financial Authority Regulation Number 11/POJK.03/2020
concerning the National Economic Stimulus as a Countercyclical Policy for the
Impact of the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (POJK No. 11/2020). To
begin with, this thesis seeks to explore how the reasons for restructuring in the
BNI Griya financing agreement can be applied to PT. Bank Negara Indonesia
(Persero) Tbk. Pekanbaru Branch Review based on POJK Number
11/POJK.03/2020. Second, to determine the pattern of delayed restructuring of
BNI Griya Credit Payments at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk,
Pekanbaru Branch.
Research of this kind is sociologically based. By analysing various
literatures related to the problems being studied, this research examines the law
in a more specific way and looks at how the law works in society. The research
was conducted at PT. As well as a population and sample of employees from Bank
Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Loan & Collection Unit Pekanbaru, and
customers from Bank BNI Pekanbaru. The data sources were primary and
secondary, and data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires,
and a literature review.
As the result of the research conducted, the key is first to implement
restructuring in the financing agreement at PT BNI Griya. Bank Negara
Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Pekanbaru branch in general has referred to POJK
Number 11/POJK.03/2020, although there are several schemes that need to be
more adapted to the conditions and paying capacity of the BNI Bank debtor.
