Abstract


Public service is an activity or series of activities in the context of fulfilling
the service needs of every citizen for goods, services and administrative services
provided by public service providers. In this context it is assumed that the
government is more responsive or more responsive to what the community needs
and knows better how to provide the best service to the community. For local
governments, this is a challenge that must be resolved as mandated in Law
Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. In this case, it is explained how to
realize a government that carries out the function as a servant in providing
services that requires a policy that regulates the public. The government must
provide the best public service providers in order to improve the performance of
public services. On the other hand, community satisfaction is one of the
benchmarks for the success of public services provided by public service media.
The type of research in this research is sociological research, examining the
applicable legal provisions and what is happening in reality in society. The data
sources used are primary data and secondary data consisting of primary legal
materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials, the data
collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, literature review,
questionnaires, after the required data is collected then leads to identification.
