Abstract


This research aims to examine the influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance with job satisfaction as a moderating variable at PT. Duta Mitra Solusindo (Assa Rent) Pekanbaru. 74 employees are the sample in this research. Primary and secondary data were collected by means of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The measurement of the questionnaire was carried out using Likert scale, then the data analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination (R2 ) with SPSS 25 software. The results show that: 1) leadership has positive effect on employee performance with significant value of 0,000; 2) work discipline has no effect on employee performance with significant value of 0,642; 3) leadership has no effect on job satisfaction with significant value of 0,461; 4) work discipline has an effect on employee job satisfaction with significant value of 0,000; 5) job satisfaction isn’t able to moderate the effect of leadership on employee performance with p-value=0,54; and 6) job satisfaction is able to moderate the effect of work discipline on employee performance with p-value=0,0095.
