Abstract


Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (SMES) have been recognized to have a very vital role in the growth of economic development. In Indonesia, SMES is a business sector driving the economy because of its ability to absorb labor. Research conducted on SMES snack Food Industry in the City of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of implementation of quality management on business performance with organizational learning as a mediating variable on the SMES in the snack Food Industry in the City of Pekanbaru. The population in this study includes 73 SMES. The sampling technique using census method with the determination of the sample when all members of the population used as a sample. Processing methods and data analysis in this research using analysis of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Partial Least Square approach (PLS). The results of this study concluded that: 1) There is significant influence of quality management on organizational learning in SMES in the snack Food Industry in the City of Pekanbaru, 2) There is significant influence of quality management on business performance in SMES snack Food Industry in the City of Pekanbaru, 3) There is significant influence of organizational learning on business performance in SMES snack Food Industry in the City of Pekanbaru, 4) There is significant influence of quality management on business performance through organizational learning as an intervening variable significantly mediate the relationship is not direct variable quality management on business performance in SMES snack Food Industry in the City of Pekanbaru.
