Abstract


This study aims to analyze the effect of financial inclusion and human resource competence (HR) on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises with environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable in Lima Puluh District, in Pekanbaru. The data used in this study is primary data, with a questionnaire as an instrument. The method used for sample selection is a nonprobability sampling technique. In this study, the total of UMKM in Lima Puluh district was 306 UMKM. The research sample is 174 UMKM. However, only 164 UMKM answered the questionnaire and could be processed. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis and moderation regression analysis using data processing software Statistical Products and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 22. The results showed that financial inclusion and human resource competence (HR) had an effect on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises. Moderation regression analysis shows that environmental uncertainty can moderate or strengthen the effect of financial inclusion and human resource (HR) competence on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises.
