Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of national income factors, interest rates and inflation on money demand (M2). This study uses secondary data in the form of annual time series data from 2005-2019. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, statistical testing includes the f test, t test, and R square (coefficient of determination), as well as the classic assumption test, namely normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation and heteroscedestheticity with the help of the program eviews (econometric views) version 10.The test results show that the national income variable (X1) in this study has a positive and significant effect on money demand (M2). The interest rate variable (X2) has a negative and insignificant effect on money demand (M2) and inflation (X3) has a positive and insignificant effect in Indonesia in 2005-2019. The amount of influence caused (R2) by these three variables together on the dependent variable is 87.74% while the remaining 12.26% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
