Abstract


The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between Interest Rates Through Lending Channels and Money Supply to Indonesia's Economic Growth. The data used in this study is time series data from 2005 to 2019, sourced from Bank Indonesia (BI) and Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The analysis method used in this study is Vector Autoregresion (VAR) by using the computer application program Eviews version 10.0. The results showed that interest rates have a negative and significant effect on lending in the shortterm, lending channels as a variable linking interest rates have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, both in the short and longterm. Variable banking credit has a significant effect on the amount of money supply in the long term, while the amount of money supply both in the short and long term negatively affects economic growth. test granger causality shows that there is a one-way causality relationship between interest rates and banking loans in Indonesia, interest rates with ekanomi growth if we use α 10% and a one-way relationship between banking credit and the amount of money supply.
